The story of "The Parlor Tricks of Ghost Hunting" is simple. We wanted to revisit the roots of where the band started while incorporating all we learned while making the last few records. We really wanted to do something dark and raw while using our newer skill sets in song making. The recent records have been received very well and we will be the first to admit the sound has definitely evolved which is deeply satisfying to us. On The Parlor Tricks we wanted to go back to our paranormal content roots while reimagining the sound where we started. The past two concept records have been much removed from the world of the paranormal and horror. This is a tribute to anyone who has been with us from the beginning. You may even catch a few nods to "The Games That Non-People Play" throughout the listen. We worked on this album from February 2021 to May 2021. The album was recorded in Tucks Lair v.2 and Union Cemetery in Hellertown PA. As usual Field Recordings were used whenever possible. We hope you enjoy.
